Introduction
Driving to the end of South Lamar can feel a bit like falling off a cliff, but that's just Route 360. All kidding aside, the tail end of South Lamar is known for the legendary honky-tonk Broken Spoke, and the bubbas in the auto shops surrounding it (long may they wave). This will change as more people come to this spot, which has three bars, deep-fried Southern food and a stunning view of the Barton Creek Greenbelt. The porch and top deck will be covered in inclement weather so Austinites can enjoy it year-round. The vibe and decor inside and out is fun. The Boles Aero silver trailer in back can be used for private parties (don't come a-knockin if it is a-rockin'). Vintage board games line one wall. Multiple flat-screen TVs pepper the walls and will show sporting events, naturally.
