Introduction
JLC Dance is a fun dance school offering dance classes for all ages, a place the whole family will love.
We run classes as well as private lessons, competitive coaching and first wedding dance lessons.
There is a charlie club for children and a Uni ted Club for the little ones and lots of Social event for adults and children such as "dancers who lunch" and monthly trips to the Tower Ballroom Blackpool, as well as Dance Holiday and Holiday clubs.
Our Blackpool studio is based at Spen Business park Ashworth Road Blackpool

Beverley Hunt
Dance Teacher and Company Director
Beverley is from Swindon and started dancing classical and modern sequence as a child as did her parents and grandparents and you will often find her dancing in the Blackpool Tower Ballroom with them and her son making the 4th generation of the family to dance at the tower.
As a member of the Old Time Dance Society, and a member of the Blackpool Tower Ballroom Committee. She is up to date with the latest Classical and Modern Sequence dances as well as the old favourites.
Work includes teaching in various venues through Blackpool organising dance Holidays, classes and tea dances as well as being part of the JLC Dance team.

Janet Lee Chapman
Dance Teacher and Company Director
Janet started dancing at 2yrs old with Tap and Ballet and by 6 yrs old Ballroom and Latin at the famous Redmond's School of Dance, She danced and competed till she was 18. After a few years working as a nurse, she returned to dance and studied Ballroom coaching with the acclaimed Eric Lashbrooke qualifying in 1989.
Work has included teaching and choreographing in schools, gyms, colleges, including Lancaster University and individual tuition both freelance and as part of the JLC Dance team, TV work and a spell as a performance artist in the Tate,
Janet is deaf having started to lose her hearing as a young adult she became completely deaf in her 30's and these days she wears two BAHA's to help her hear, she is also a very good lip reader, if you have any disability she will be there to help just ask.
Dance is for all.

Tracy Jackson
Dance Teacher and Company Director
Tracy started dancing as a child in Preston and soon found her love for Latin American dance.
Quickly rising to become a member of the "Dancers" Latin American formation team that won the Closed British Championships (although she's not letting on what year).
She has over 35 years experience in the dance industry both in
performance and teaching.
Her passion for teaching lies in working with children and she has experience with children and young people with learning difficulties .
This has lead her to work within various dance schools and with community
groups both freelance and as part of the JLC Dance Team.
