The most important spice for any dish is chilli, but there is far more to Thai cooking than chilli. Coriander is sprinkled on meat, along with garlic, pepper, ginger, tamarind, mint, basil and pandanus, to enhance the taste.
Thai do order selection of dishes and share them together. As an accompaniment, Thai will almost always have rice or noodles along with all dishes.
