This is a lovely restaurant, good value and the food is superb. However the staff are not very friendly and 10% service charge is added to your bill which I do not agree with. They also have paper napkins which is a bit annoying!

we were booked for 12 people on 19/9 and had their buffet
most horrible food I have had in my life and I would not give that
food animals. I thought It was only me who did not like the food
but within 3 to 4 days everybody came back and told me food
was terrible. I have had take away before and was nice but
the buffet was terrible and the service was no better and they
thought they were doing you a favour. I would not have given them
any service charge but 10% was added in our bill.
We paid over £150 and I would never go there again.

i have been to the xin on a couple of occasions and found the food to be good and would have recomended it, my son treated me on mothers day and i have to say the service was terrible, we got our starters quickly and then waited for ages for our duck, the table behind us were served first even though they came in well after us, and then we waited ages for our main meal, once again the food was good, when we asked for the bill we sat and waited again so we went to the counter and paid, service is included in the bill, there was no apology for the lenghthy wait or even a goodbye or thanks. dont think we will be going again

Looked nice and inviting from outside but was greeted by man in sweater and jeans and knew we then wasn't to expect much. Shabby looking interior, dirty linen/table cloths, greasy plates and dirty cutlery, together with staff with bad attitude. Won't be going back.
