Introduction
Award winning “hidden gem†Winder Hall Country House offers a beautiful haven from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Ideally located close to Cockermouth and the adventure capital Keswick, there is something for everyone in this area of the Lake District. Take a dip in the hot tub and sauna overlooking the fells, or build up an appetite with a walk before enjoying complimentary tea and homemade cakes on the terrace or in the lounge. Why not round off your day by reserving dinner in our oak-panelled restaurant, before enjoying the tranquility of one of our seven elegant bedrooms?
If you are looking for a really intimate, romantic and personal place to celebrate a civil ceremony, wedding, renewal of vows, blessing, anniversary, christening or naming ceremony…. any special occasion, Winder Hall could be just what you are looking for.
We would love the opportunity to show you round and hear about your dreams for your special occasion. Why not give us a call to arrange a no-obligation chat over afternoon tea?
We don’t offer a wedding “package†as we believe that your wedding day wishes and dreams are totally individual — you let us know what you want and we organize it for you. That way, your celebration really is unique for you and special for us as well.
