Troutbeck Inn

A warm welcome from The Troutbeck Inn, we are nestled in the delightful hamlet of Troutbeck midway between Penrith and Keswick in the north lakes. The Inn offers a cosy, comfortable and relaxed base from which you can easily access all of the Lake District. Originally a railway hotel servicing the line between Penrith and Keswick.

The Troutbeck Inn Country Hotel has been awarded a four star rating by the English tourist board for both the inn and cottages. In addition to our seven en suite guest rooms we have three Four Star cottages, these are converted from former stables and are in the courtyard to the rear of the Inn. Each cottage is extremely spacious with everything you need for a self catering holiday in the Lake District.

Our bar is open daily for both residents & non-residents (all day in Spring & Summer) serving a choice of draft beers, real ales & a selection of wines. Food is served daily, lunch 12pm till 2pm serving snacks, sandwiches & hot dishes of the day. Customers with dogs are welcome to drink and dine, breakfast, lunch and dinner, in our bar.

Food at the Troutbeck can be enjoyed in the bar, lounge & restaurant areas. All food is prepared using the freshest, local (where poss) ingredients by the chef partner of the business. A carefully selected wine list accompanies the menu together with a selection of real ales from the bar.
