Introduction
The Stork is a delightful traditional English Country Inn and B and B, situated in the picturesque hamlet of Conder Green. 3½ miles from Lancaster with its castles & museums and located on the estuary of the River Lune where it meets the River Conder. This traditional beamed coaching inn dates back to 1660.
In winter, you will find roaring log fires and a warm & friendly welcome from the cold. In summer you will find beautiful gardens, a large children's play area and a BBQ with a South African influence.
Traditional hand pulled real ales officially accredited by 'Cask Marqueâ?, quality wine & excellent coffee from J. Atkinson & Co of Lancaster are included in the modern day Stork offering.
We are open daily from 10am serving morning & afternoon tea, coffee & cakes. Breakfast is available to non-residents on Saturday & Sunday from 08.30 to 10.30am. We are now serving food all day 12 noon to 9pm.
Families & children, cyclists, ramblers & walkers, bikers and dogs are all most welcome.
The Stork Inn makes both an unusual and superb venue for small to medium weddings and special events.
From christenings, birthday celebrations and funerals to corporate gatherings, we have a private function area available for up to 50 guests with flexible menu planning to maximise all budgets.
