Introduction
We are pleased to have former Head Chef of the Rayon D'Or restaurant in Croydon - Sam Asimah as the head chef of The Greek Taverna. With 26 years experience as a chef, Sam will slowly be adding some more lovely Mediterranean dishes to our menu to compliment the great dishes already available.
In addition to this, we have now completed the full refurbishment of our rear restaurant - making it a bright and modern place in which to dine. Our front reception area has also been refurbished, and we will opening our wine and cocktail bar in late April.
For entertainment, we provide plate smashing, a live Greek show with audience participation and dancing until late.
This is great for birthday, Christmas and office parties - or maybe just a get together with family and friends for a great night out.
We will sing happy birthday to the birthday boy/girl and if you drop in your cake to us, we will present that to him/her.
The Greek Taverna party restaurant has been established for 19 years, so we know how to give you a good night out! Please be careful though, because our waiters are really CLUMSY, and they just may smash a plate or two right next to you......
Please remember to book as early as possible for weekend dates, as we fill up in advance. For the Christmas season, you will need to book from September to be guaranteed your seats. (Last December we turned away around 2,500 people who wanted to come on the Fridays and Saturdays.)
