Here at the Garden Café we produce delicious food for you to enjoy in a relaxed environment in a way that reflects our belief that looking after our personal health and wellbeing in as a harmonious way possible has a direct influence on the the day to day care and future of planet earth. we trade with plays a hugely important role in positive living.
With this ethos in mind all our meals are created in our kitchen using the best ingredients available, incorporating organic, free range, fairtrade and locally sourced to provide delicious food seven days a week.

We are delighted that our ever increasing number of regular and new customers appreciate that our food is produced based on the now recognised fact that one of the biggest and easiest steps in reducing our personal carbon footprint is by not eating a diet that is primarily based on animal farming so at the Garden Café all our food is vegetarian with many vegan options available.

We are also very careful in our use and disposal of other supplies from using biodegradable cleaning product, using compostable containers for our takeaways to using electricity supplied by Ecotricity who generate their power from renewable sources We are working at increasing our recycling. At present we prevent food waste, tins, glass, paper and cardboard from going to land fill.

Our beautiful walled garden is an important part of the café. Open all year with covered areas. No patio heaters (they are a huge waste of energy) but we can provide blankets and hot water bottles for those cold times. We have bicycle powered generators to power up batteries which in turn help to run garden lights. charge phones and on selected days you can even make a pedal powered smoothie.
