Step by Step Art is a company run by Artist & Art Tutor, Karen M Berisford and offers a website for Artists all around the world allowing you to access articles on art products, product reviews, written tutorials on various subjects in various mediums and coming soon to the site is mini video tutorials. All this is FREE!! There are articles on Coloured pencil products, graphite pencils, pastels & Acrylic paints as well as papers & other supports there may also be articles added by other articles that work in other mediums too so this website will not be limited to the 4 already mentioned. Subscribing to this website ensures you receive the very latest updates on articles, tutorials and current workshops too.
Karen M Berisford also tutors 1 Day Workshops 2 - 4 times a year in Chesterfield, Derbyshire for those artists looking to learn how to create highly detailed Art in any of the following mediums: Coloured pencils, Graphite pencils or Acrylics. Subscribe to the website to stay updated with new articles and information on up and coming Workshops. These Workshops are open to artists of all abilities in a relaxed atmosphere and the groups are kept to a maximum of 10 people to ensure Karen is able to help everyone that may need extra help throughout the day.
The 1 Day Workshops include Step by step tutorials given by the tutor, Karen M Berisford who offers information, hints and tips on many aspects of painting and drawing whilst actually producing the subject too for each individual to follow too. Each attendee receives a Workshop booklet alongside a high quality photograph of the subject to work from throughout the day and you can also opt to use your own products, loan an Art Kit for the day or purchase an Home Kit to ensure you have everything required for the day. These 1 Day Workshops normally run on a Saturday from 10am until 3:30pm and free hot and cold drinks are provided throughout the day to all attendees. Prices start from £42.00 per person
