Shell Bay Seafood restaurant and bistro is in a setting like no other. Nuzzled on the edge of the Isle of Purbeck, we overlook stunning Brownsea Island, the waters of Poole Harbour and Sandbanks.

Whether you come across on the chain ferry, arrive by boat and anchor-up at Shell Bay Marine next door, or drive through the National Park behind us from Corfe Castle and Swanage, the views on arrival, the friendly staff, and the delectable menu are sure to please. We accommodate diners in the main restaurant overlooking the water and also serve food from our casual Bistro. Whether it’s a three course meal with a bottle of Rose that you’re after or Fish and Chips and a Salad to enjoy on the beach the choice is yours.

Our menu changes daily and we source as much of our seafood and fresh produce from local, sustainable sources as possible.

We cater for private parties and weddings throughout the season and our friendly Marina manager, Terry, is available for those wanting further information on moorings and private boat charters.
