Introduction
Roman Villa Restaurant is a local independently owned and operated restaurant located in Rotterdam New York in Schenectady County and just minutes from Albany. Owner Peter Guidarelli puts a strong emphasis on the simple things to satisfy you, the customer: Buy the best quality products, employ a hard working friendly staff, know your customers and support and give back to the community.
The Best Quality Products- From our hand cut steaks, selection of homemade pastas and tomatoes for our signature sauces, our local favorite classic fresh dough pizza to our homemade desserts. It is our belief that you cannot serve a delicious dinner if you do not start with quality ingredients.
Hard Working Friendly Staff- They are not just employees, they are wonderful talented people-In the kitchen is executive Chef Danny DeLorenzo, who worked with Wolfgang Puck, offers nightly specials and his signature variety of risotto dishes and nightly specials will guarantee you will be back for more. Our Lead hostess Jackie has been serving and welcoming Schenectady restaurant goers for over 40 years and is the backbone of the old school service our customers deserve. Manager Eric Gleason has attention to detail in every area of our restaurant and is there for whatever you need. Vallee Votaw will handle all of your catering and banquet needs for those special occasions that need someone special to make sure your event is the best it can be.
Know Your Customers- We are proud to have so many "regulars" who have become the foundation and great friends of Roman Villa over the years. As a family owned restaurant, it is so important that every one of our customers feels that once they walk through our doors, they are part of the Roman Villa Family and we are there for and because of the customer. Our customers have truly given Roman Villa a friendly comfortable reputation and they are the ones to thank for that!
Support and Give Back to The Community- The Guidarelli Family has been volunteering and advocating for local businesses in the community for over twenty years and since opening Roman Villa he has continued that tradition and will continue for years to come. Roman Villa provides thousand of dinners and donates to local charitable efforts every year. We are proud to support Schalmont and Mohonasen Schools, Rotterdam Volunteer Fire departments, Rotterdam Little League, Soccer, Pop Warner Football, Cheer-leading, City Mission, The Scouts, Union College, Schenectady County Community College and of course senior organizations and many other worthwhile organizations. Please feel free to call to see how we can help your organization.
Roman Villa also supports local vendors as much as possible. For example, if you recognize those great Raviolis and stuffed shells that's because they are from Rotterdam's own Pede Bros. The Pede family has great Raviolis and Italian products that so many of us grew up enjoying for years and years.
