Opened in 2009, Angelo's Tavolo is the newest Italian restaurant by Angelo Mazzone. Our Executive Chef, Frank Tardio, has designed the menu with a modern take on traditional Italian cuisine. At Angelo's Tavolo you can enjoy a modern Italian dining experience in our newly renovated dining room or have your next event in one of our Private Rooms, with guest counts up to 25 people.
With the grand opening happening in early 2009, Angelo's Tavolo has only exceeded expectations. First was the rating of 3 1/2 Stars by the Times Union, describing that the restaurant "artfully balances the traditional ingredients of Schenectady's old Italian restaurants with trendy presentations and preparations." And after receiving Diners' Choice Awards in Mediterranean, Romantic, and Upstate New York categories for 2009, we are proud to announce winning 10 Open Table Diners' Choice Awards. With wins in Best Ambiance, Best Food, Best Service, and Best Overall for Upstate New York, we are thankful to our patrons for helping us become the best restaurant in the the area.
