We can arrange excursions or activities for you on request and refresh you in comfort after your adventures.

We make no pretense about our food and drink, only that we use the finest local produce, which our Chef then lovingly prepares. Our Sunday lunches attract great support from the local residents and advance booking is advised.

We serve a selection of Real Ales and Ciders, stock a growing selection of wines and a very fine range of Malt Whiskies. If however, you do not see what you want then please ask, and we will do our best to cater for your individual requirements – this especially applies for parties and other functions. For conferences, we can provide a selection of menus or snacks to suit any budget.

Outside seating is available – and by the way, that’s now the only place at the Roast Ox Inn where you can smoke!
