If you are looking for the heart of Stannington Village, and a great place to eat and drink out with locals and friends, the Peacock Inn is the place for you!
New landlord Simon Mullen and his carefully selected team of new and existing staff took management of the pub in August 2009 and have seen the pub come back to life with both old and new customers enjoying a great atmosphere and service, as well as delicious food and drink which is now available through the pub!
To tempt you mid week, a two for £5 menu is served Monday to Friday from 11:30am - 3pm, consisting of traditional casseroles, fish and chips and more. Not forgetting the little ones, a children's menu is also served. There are a variety of nights on during the week, Tuesday is quiz night, with Sunday hosting a music quiz with prices to be won.
Sunday lunch is our most popular time so booking is advisable! Served 11am ' 7pm, it offers three quality roast meats, a large selection of fresh vegetables and potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, stuffing and thick, rich, meat gravy. There is a vegetarian and gluten free menu available, just ask a member of staff for details.
