The Ossian Hotel, built in 1880 as a private residence, is set in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. It now offers the modern comforts and high standards of a friendly, family run hotel, with 9 comfortable bedrooms, all with private bathrooms, colour T.V.'s and Tea and Coffee making facilities.

The restaurant is renowned for its unpretentious menu, the food freshly prepared by Johnny, the Chef, using local ingredients whenever possible and served in the elegant, informal dining room. Wines from around the world and local beers will complement your meal.

The bar has a wide range of malt whiskies and liqueurs. Spoil yourself - you deserve it! The Hotel is set in a beautiful village, where the River Spey flows through Loch Insh, and also enjoys glorious views of the Cairngorm mountains.

Although ideally placed for day trips, the village itself offers abundant activities or true relaxation. The hotel has permits for boat and bank fishing for salmon, trout, pike and arctic char.
