Introduction
Metropolitan is situated in the heart of the Merchant City in Glasgow, and comprises a stylish cocktail bar and 200 cover restaurant spread over our Balconies, intimate Booths and Private Dining Areas.
Metropolitan Cocktail Bar, was one of the first in Glasgow to specialise in authentic, award winning cocktails. We’ve been leading the city’s bar scene now for over 9 years, still devoting the same level of attention to sourcing the best products and ingredients for our constantly evolving list.
Serving an impressively diverse selection of local produce in a range of styles, our a la carte menu is available from 5pm every evening. In addition, we serve a pre-theatre set menu of 2 or 3 courses which changes daily to reflect market specials and the freshest seasonal ingredients.
A choice of set menus is available for groups of over 10. Metropolitan's restaurant is unique not only for its menu, but also for its first-floor setting in the south-west corner of Merchant Square, formerly the Victorian Candleriggs market. Spanning four distinct areas, it is equally capable of accommodating celebratory parties and romantic rendezvous.
