Introduction
The MacDonald Hotel and Cabins welcomes you to some of the most stunning views in Scotland. The area is ideal for artists photographers climbers, hill walkers, munro baggers, kayakers/canoeists, anglers and mountain bikers.
The MacDonald Hotel is on the northwestern edge of the village of Kinlochleven, where the West Highland Way begins its climb towards Fort William making it an ideal stop over for walkers on the West Highland Way. The road around the loch provides exciting riding for motor cyclists and there are a number of rides which can be enjoyed from the hotel.
This family-run hotel provides a variety of comfortable, relaxing accommodations with stunning mountain and loch views. The en-suite hotel rooms have both baths and showers and there are flat screen TVs, coffee and tea making facilities and hairdryers in all the rooms. Dogs are welcome in our dog-friendly establishment.
The cabins provide a comfortable camping experience. Enjoy the exquisite views of the loch from the verandas in the peaceful grounds.
The Restaurant is the hotel’s more formal dining room and is the perfect venue for that special meal or group function. It is an ideal location for birthdays, weddings, funerals and other functions.
All meals are cooked to order and use, as far as possible, fresh ingredients sourced from local producers. The menu includes traditional and modern Highland dishes as well as a range of pub favourites and daily blackboard specials.
