Loch Fyne Restaurant & Oyster Bar

The original Oyster Bar and Farm Shop started in a small shed in the lay-by at the head of Loch Fyne in the early 80’s, then in 1988 moved into the old cow byre at Clachan Farm. The thick stone walls of the original building have seen politicians, celebrities, film stars, royalty and visitors from far and wide pass between them. Inside décor and furnishings have evolved from what was initially an indoor picnic area to a restaurant equipped to equal standards found in cosmopolitan locations

Menus are drawn up by the kitchen on a daily basis depending on seasonal availability to ensure best use of local produce. The main menu is served from 12pm to 6pm each day, up to 7pm on Friday and Saturday, and features dishes including a range of ingredients from Loch Fyne smoked salmon to Highland beef steak, Tobermory crab cocktail to roast Loch Fyne salmon with chickpeas.

The Breakfast Menu, featuring the famous Loch Fyne kippers runs from 9am to 12pm. Coffees and pastries are also on offer in the morning and afternoon. The wine list features wine especially selected to accompany the menu. Wine can be bought by the glass, bottle or carafe. A large range of specialist whiskies are also available, along with local Fyne Ales.
