Our History
In 2001 Bruce and Lisa Bonafiglia opened an Authentic Italian Cuisine Restaurant in Seneca Falls, NY. Bruce decided to name the establishment Henry B's after his fun loving, Scotch drinking, infamous Uncle Henry.
Prior to opening Henry B's the Bonifiglia's did extensive research traveling through Italy to assure the restaurant's design and menu items held true to Northern Italian Cuisine. While in Italy they focused on developing regional recipes which featured local ingredients and creative presentations.
At the Seneca Falls location Henry B's success was built on providing fine Italian Cuisine served 'Family Styleâ?. Large portions were shared by diners with common tastes.
In the spring of 2009 two local Rochester businessmen offered Henry B's a prime location in the Sagamore on East Building in Rochester's Downtown arts district.
Henry B's continues to offer original favorites, served in individual portions and ever changing specials featuring local ingredients while maintaining a passion for creative Northern Italian Cuisine. We offer an extensive wine list, private wine bins in a temperature and humidity controlled environment. Henry B's also offers two private dinning areas within our restaurant to serve our customers for groups of up to 80 people.
Henry B's prides itself on individual satisfaction. We believe our menu items fit a wide range of tastes and budgets. If you have special dietary requirements or just a preference for a dish that may not be a menu item, just let us know and we will make every attempt grant your wish.
Managing Partner - Paul J Tessoni
Mr. Tessoni joined the Henry B's family in the spring of 2011. Paul's passion for food, friends and family is unsurpassed. As an avid chef and community fundraiser he has earned the respect of practically everyone he knows.
Paul wants you to know that customer satisfaction is the primary goal of all employees of Henry B's. He welcomes constructive criticism in the best interest of our guests.
Although Paul may have a striking resemblance to our name sake Henry B, as far as he knows, there is only a slight chance that they may be related!
