Greensmiths

Greensmiths is a local supermarket with a real difference ' a butcher's, a baker's, a greengrocer's, a coffee specialist and a wine merchant's - as well as all the other daily food needs you would expect to find in a supermarket. And there is a kitchen there preparing food only from fresh ingredients in the store to eat in the cafe or take away.

Greensmiths are opening their first store in Lower Marsh, Waterloo where it will provide local customers who live or work in the area with the full convenience range of their daily requirements ' breakfast, lunch and dinner, the staple items and the treats.

For this first store, Greensmiths are bringing together a farmer/butcher (The Ginger Pig), baker (The Old Post Office Bakery), greengrocer (Solstice), coffee/beverages specialist (Caffe Antica), and wine merchant (Waterloo Wine Company). It is intended to add a cheesemonger but initially this will be 'in house�. And there will be the full range of groceries and dairy products.

For the customer it will be a seamless experience like any supermarket but with the added advantage of specialists supplying and serving their own produce. Greensmiths' in store kitchen will be preparing delicious food from this for local residents and workers to try out in the cafe or take back home or to the office.
