FAT OLIVES

Fat Olives was originally a Fisherman’s Cottage and dates back to the 17th Century when smugglers used the old passageways through the cellar and village. Lawrence and Julia Murphy established Fat Olives in January 2000 and recently refurbished in June 2011.

Fat Olives is recommended in the five main Food Guides for 2013 and was listed in Egon Ronays’ last editions of “Top Restaurants in the UK 2005/6”

We strive to ensure our customers are able to enjoy a relaxed and informal atmosphere with friendly attentive service. All our dishes are freshly prepared on the premises using as many local suppliers within the surrounding areas as well as serving fish and seafood from sustainable sources. Our menu is based on Modern English with influences from the Mediterranean.
