I spent many years as a graphic designer, and I'm drawn to objects that appeal to all senses. Creating has a way of making you feel better, like a good cup of tea. I love teaching a wide mix of crafts including mosaics, felting, printing, tie dye, batik, soap making and bath bombs.

I specialise in advanced and community art mosaics. I like to develop mixed media techniques by experimenting and re-purposing objects like recycled pottery, glass, stone, metal and plastic. Mosaics are being rediscovered and reinvented in large installations and at individual scale. Mosaics have a huge range of characteristics, methods and materials. They can be awe inspiring with richness and textural elements inspired by jewels, or be informal and organic. They can have a graphic, chunky - and funky feel. I still love to play with all the possibilities.
