Cafe de Camacho

Located in the Plaza of Downtown's tourists El Pueblo de Los Angeles Historical Monument, also known as Olvera Street, this casual sidewalk Café is a favorite among visitors. The one time historic Bank of America building, with original bank vault still in place, has been converted into a modern Latin café frequented by locals and tourists alike. Café de Camacho offers the world famous Camacho's Nachos, flavorful Latin inspired Tacos, Sandwiches, Salads, as well as freshly brewed Coffee and Espresso. A variety of delicious baked goods are prepared daily.

Inspired by the Latino artists movement so prevalent in the history and culture of Los Angeles, the Café supports local artists by displaying and selling unique pieces showcased throughout the space. Sale proceeds are donated by the Café to the artists in partnership with local non-profit organization Self Help Graphics & Art. Another significant artistic feature of the Café is the one-of-a-kind hand painted chairs that were created by the Eighth Grade Honors Art Class at Oscar de la Hoya Ánimo Charter High School in East Los Angeles.

Café de Camacho is the ideal location to hold business meetings, community gatherings, book signings, poetry readings, art exhibitions and more. It is open daily for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and offers free Wi-Fi to guests.
