Introduction
The Original Burger Tex is Austin Texas' premier burger restaurant. We bake our buns fresh twice a day, daily! We ensure the freshest and finest burgers! Oh, and we're the original Burger Tex, customer praised, USPTO approved.
Brick and wood décor create a down-home feel at this Austin fixture. TVs plus pool and foosball tables add to the ultracasual atmosphere. Lunchtime sees the biggest crowd, when customers are a mix of professionals and blue-collar workers. The hearty beef-chuck burgers come in six- or eight-ounce sizes, with various toppings, including bacon and grilled mushrooms, squeezed between wheat or white made-from-scratch, toasted and buttered buns.
At Burger Tex customers are delighted daily with homemade and tasty southern food. Fresh is the name of the game at Burger Tex. Our Chicken Fried Steaks are freshly made, we don't use frozen, we bake fresh buns here twice a day, every day! We also use fresh Beef Chuck Patties, and freshly made onion rings - never frozen!
