Back to Basics Massage and Bodywork

My name is Hope Damanskis, and I am a licensed Massage Therapist. I have always been interested in using massage therapy and bodywork as a healing property for injuries and general wellness. But it wasn’t until I started practicing at a chiropractic office that I could see improvement in others. Proper use of massage, combined with stretching and strengthening can help manage pain, improve range of motion and flexibility, and give an overall sense of health. With the everyday stresses of life and work related injuries, massage therapy has been increasingly welcomed into chiropractic offices, and private practices. Some insurance companies offer partial reimbursement for these services. Very exciting!
I completed my studies at The Cortiva Institute in 2010. The School trained in Swedish massage, deep tissue, myofascial release, neuromuscular therapy, Thai massage, chair massage, and sports massage. I am always learning new modalities in my continuing education as well as on the job. I have had the pleasure of providing massage services through volunteerism with various organizations including Hospice Inspiris, Philadelphia Triathlon, Camp Dreamcatcher, and SarahCare senior services. Treating a variety of clients with different needs has enabled me to expand my techniques.
I am licensed, insured and nationally certified. I am ready to bring the benefits of massage directly to you. Massage therapy has brought a sense of balance to my life, my body, and my mind that cannot be described in words, but is felt with the soul. I hope it will do the same for you.
