keys4u locksmith Bloomsbury

I was happy with their service, The locksmith arrived on time, was polite he told me the prices before going ahead with the job, Firstly i thought the price was very expensive, but when i rang few other locksmiths they quoted similar. I will recommend them to family and Friends. Definitely a Good company!

Avoid at all cost. I was quoted £59 to open a simple lock that could have been picked in 10 minutes if it was a very good locksmith. It took 30 mins! And that was after I waited an hour and 45 minutes. He blamed it on bad traffic. When he got there, he asked me what I was quoted and I said £59. I guess he was a third party minion. He explained that he would need to drill it open and that his drill bit was expensive and would cost £150 not including VAT if he could not pick it open. I pushed for him to pick the lock. He was able to pick the lock but said he could not turn the catch open and then said he would need to drill. I pushed for him to pick. After picking it three times and unable to open he realised that all he needed to do was to turn the lock with a screwdriver!! All I wanted was for him to pick a cylinder lock and after opening the cylinder he said it is broken and that he would need to replace it. He quoted £200 for a new type of lock and said it was very secure. I said no. I went to a DIY shop and got a cylinder for less than a tenner and I changed it in less than 10 minutes. The old cylinder was not broken! All I had to do was turn it back and it was good to use again. This locksmith was talking a lot of tosh to get my hard earned money. DO NOT USE!

Dear Allen, I'm sorry to that you not happy with the service.
you placed a call with Keys 4 U at Thursday 5.09am in the morning to a property in south east London. over the phone we told you that the charge to open the door will be £69 (not including parts). the tech came to you with in 22min and opened the door, you paid £69. your other locksmith did not even pick up the phone at this time....some locks we need to drill in order to open and can always replace it on site, like any other locksmith companies and like you been advised over the phone material is not part of the labor. I know it's one of this situation that you spend money you did not expect to spent, but your frustration should not come as a bed review about our company after the level of service you received that morning.

These cowboys overcharged us, damaged our lock & were extremely rude when we tried to complain. Apparently they have quite a reputation for doing this and misleading people about their charges. Use at your own peril.
