Introduction
Phyllis Pieri, a Certified Franchise Executive “CFE", has owned and operated franchise businesses, and has been advising and coaching people in the world of franchising for 35 years. She wants to share her experience and passion for franchising with you. She believes, based on this extensive experience, that owning a franchise is the best way to become a business owner.
Phyllis started her career in the franchise industry working for the corporate office of Sir Speedy Printing in Newport Beach, California. Eventually, she wanted to get her feet wet and wanted to make it on her own! So, she left the corporate side and bought a Sir Speedy Printing Center in downtown San Francisco. After four very successful years, personal reasons took her back to Southern California, but the franchise bug had bitten her, and she wanted more!
She spent the following ten years in the automotive industry. She then took advantage of an opportunity to work with Erwin Keup, a franchise attorney who wrote the authoritative work on the franchise business, “The Franchise Bible.†They worked together launching new franchise companies. He would do the legal work, and she would create the marketing materials, sales system and then find quality franchise owners.
She was then recruited by Sir Speedy to develop the nine western states. But she truly enjoys helping people find the “perfect match†in lots of different industries, so after accomplishing her goals with Sir Speedy, she turned to coaching, which she has now done for over 20 years.
