You Laugh You Lose

YLYL, stands for You Laugh You Lose. We are an online media company specializing in spreading humor and laughs on the internet. We make and maintain funny picture properties on the web with fun, hilarious communities. Our flagship site is all about the popular You Laugh You Lose game played on many forums, where random funny pictures are shown to people. The goal of the game is to keep a straight face as pictures are shown, those that make it impossible to do so are rewarded with "losses" or votes. YLYL also strives to differentiate our web properties from others with advanced use of technology. Our funny picture sites rely on sophisticated image recognition and duplicate detection algorithms to make sure our user's experience is fun, easy, un-spammed and non-repetitive.

We are also expanding into other upcoming media forms such as videos and funny stories. Weaving clever advertising and products within this content is also one of our goals. Currently our "This is Genius" ads for Amazon products fits in with this long term goal, providing better ROI for our advertisers while providing additional engaging content for our users. All together, having a unparalleled user experience, unique approach to an age old niche and intelligent integration of ads for a higher return, we aim to make everyone that deals with YLYL happy.
