Introduction
My name is William Burkitt, and I am a GHR accredited Clinical Hypnotherapist.
Hypnotherapy is a very effective and safe approach that can be used to help you make very positive, real and profound changes to your life.
Often, people desperately want to overcome their problems, but can’t seem to make any meaningful changes.
Other times, people know that their problems don’t make sense and that their fears are irrational and illogical, yet their problems continue.
The reason why many people can’t overcome their problems is that they are trying to overcome their problems consciously. The truth is that, in most cases, our problems originate from our subconscious mind, not our conscious mind.
The reason hypnotherapy is so effective is that it allows you to discover the root cause of your problems within your subconscious mind, and by discovering where your problems come from, you are able to better understand them, deal with them, and overcome them.
Hypnotherapy itself involves little more than relaxing the conscious part of the mind using simple techniques such as mindful breathing and relaxing imagery.
You will always be in control, and you will never be asked to do anything you don’t want to do.
I provide a safe, secure, encouraging and non-judgemental environment for all of my clients, all in the wonderfully relaxing rooms at the Lincoln Counselling Centre.
I specialise primarily in helping people to improve their self-confidence, lose weight, and overcome anxiety.
I passionately believe that every single human being has the inner strength, wisdom and resilience to create lifelong happiness, fulfilment and satisfaction, and it is this belief that defines my personality and approach as a hypnotherapist.
