Gabriel Gerbi concentrates his practice on real estate finance and development, leasing, construction, real estate syndication, faith-based development, hard money lending and general corporate governance.

Gabriel has provided legal services to numerous large scale developers, general contractors and hard money lenders on an array of projects throughout New York City. He also advises not-for-profit developers and religious institutions on all aspects of commercial real estate projects. He has experience in deals involving inclusionary housing and air rights transfers.

Irwin Weltz, a founding partner of Weltz Law, has been practicing law for over 25 years. His representations have been diverse and often high stakes.

Mr. Weltz has litigated cases before courts, arbitration forums and regulatory and administrative bodies around the country. His clients have included investors, public companies, broker-dealers, registered investment advisors, investment professionals, insurance agents, hedge funds, private equity firms, traders, investment bankers, research analysts, officers, directors, shareholders, business owners and employees. The types of matters he has handled covers scores of different claims and issues, such as investor litigation, securities class actions, employment disputes, partnership conflicts, derivative actions, insider trading, criminal defense, oil and gas litigation, internal investigations, defamation, AML, discrimination, wage and hour laws, indemnification, and civil and commercial disputes.

Robert Volynsky is a founding partner of Weltz Kakos Gerbi Wolinetz Volynsky LLP (“Weltz Law”). His practice focuses on representing clients in all aspects of securities and commercial litigation, as well as claims unique to the financial services industry, including claims for fraud, churning, failure to supervise, unsuitability, and elder abuse.

Prior to forming Weltz Law, Mr. Volynsky worked for a boutique corporate and securities litigation firm where he primarily represented broker-dealers, brokers, private equity funds, public and private companies, and officers, directors and shareholders, in a wide array of commercial litigations, derivative suits, securities litigations and arbitrations, including FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) arbitrations, as well as regulatory investigations and enforcement proceedings. Mr. Volynsky also advised clients on various complex issues exclusive to the cannabis industry and has served as a panelist at numerous conferences related to this burgeoning area of law.

Thomas Scot Wolinetz is a founding partner of Weltz Kakos Gerbi Wolinetz Volynsky LLP where he is a litigation and transactional attorney focusing on securities arbitration, litigation, corporate law, securities, mergers and acquisition, finance and corporate governance. Mr. Wolinetz has experience arbitrating before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, including cases involving stocks, bonds, options, mutual funds, private placements, real estate investment trusts (REITS), structured products, annuities, life insurance policies, and exchange-traded funds (ETFs).
