Introduction
Rachel Weatherly graduated from Adelaide University in mid 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws and completed her Graduate Diploma in Legal practice at the end of 2002. In November 2002 she commenced working in the area of Family Law, Wills and Estates and Criminal Law. Rachel was admitted to practice as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of South Australia on 2 June 2003 and to the High Court of Australia on 4 September 2003. Rachel has specialised in the area or Family Law since September 2003 and also practices in the area of Wills and Estates. Her experience has included managing a file load in conjunction with running trials in the Family Court and Federal Magistrate’s Court of Australia, both in relation to Children’s and Property issues.
Rachel also has experience in providing advice to clients looking into retirement and aged care accommodation giving practical advice and understanding in relation to the terms of the contract they are entering into and what it will mean to them and to their estate, giving her client’s peace of mind that they understand what they are signing.
Rachel is a member of The Law Society (SA) and Law Council of Australia (Family Law Section).

Ai Phan
Senior Associate
Ai graduated from Flinders University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Laws and Legal Practice and a Bachelor of Science.
In November 2002 she commenced working in the area of Corporate & Commercial Law. Ai regularly advises our business clients on a range of corporate and commercial matters, including the documentation of transactions and reviewing and drafting contracts. She also has broad expertise in the area of charities and not-for-profit law, with particular focus on establishing new charities, restructuring existing organisations, advising on the various tax issues regarding charities and their ongoing compliance requirements.
Ai is a member of the Law Society of South Australia.
