Warrens Group

Warrens Group provide a variety of recycling services for agricultural businesses. Starting with recycling animal waste from butchers, abattoirs and other meat industry businesses, Warrens Group now use their recycled waste to produce energy. This is made possible with their partnership with Agricore, opening Emerald Biogas. The company is the North's first food waste anaerobic digestion facility, which treats a wide range of food waste that turns into useful resources. Some of the resources made include fertiliser and clean energy, which helps other farmers grow their produce. Warrens Group demonstrate their success through the number of tonnes of food waste converted, which currently stands at 115,000.
