Introduction
Wang JiaSha originated in Shanghai in 1945. Its first Hong Kong collection was opened at Whampoa Gourmet Place in 2002 bringing authentic Shanghainese cuisine and dim sum to Hong Kong’s food lovers. Upon the acquisition by Gaia Group in 2006, Gaia Group has been consistently expanding Wang JiaSha to the most popular shopping malls in Hong Kong (Elements in October 2007, Festival Walk in November 2008 and so on). Wang JiaSha is becoming the market leader of Shanghainese cuisine with six outlets at prominent locations across Hong Kong and Kowloon. Now, Gaia Group brings Wang JiaSha to one of Beijing most prominent commercial district Sanlitun, to deliver the finest Shanghainese cuisine. The first Beijing branch of this longstanding Shanghai chain specializes in xiaolongbao and dan dan mian, with portions and quality that offer good value for money. The cool décor is well suited to a hip, young crowd.
