The Tutor Station

My name is Mindy Rogers, and I am the owner of The Tutor Station. I am a Georgia Certified Teacher in PK-5th grades and I offer private, in-home tutoring to elementary students in all subjects. I have taught elementary school students for the last eight years and have extensive experience teaching students reading comprehension and fluency, language arts and writing skills, math, science, and social studies content, and test-taking strategies. I have also specialized in state testing preparation for tests such as the CRCT in all subjects and the state writing exam. My public school teaching experience has included time teaching gifted students, special education students, students in speech therapy, and students who are learning English as a second language.

I am in the process of opening my own tutoring center to offer a Summer Program that will be held for half days and will be instructional-based, offering students small group and one-on-one tutoring, as well as opportunities to complete art projects, research projects, participate in dress-up days for each themed week, and more!
