Introduction
Vigilant Security Services, LLC (VSS) is a licensed private security company located in West Virginia. VSS was founded in 2005 by former US Army Special Forces veteran, Erik Lawrence. VSS provides security services, training services and products to the defense industry in the US and internationally for private individuals, VIP’s, corporations and more. We are located in the north-central part of West Virginia in the town of Philippi. Philippi is located on U.S. Routes 119 and 250, less than a two-hour drive from Ohio, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Maryland borders. The Philippi-Barbour County Regional Airport has a 3200-foot runway and is equipped with dawn-to-dusk lights.
