Vervet Monkey Foundation

November to January is orphan baby season at the Vervet Monkey foundation and volunteers are needed to help teach baby monkeys the first steps in life (how to feed from a bottle, climb and be a monkey) and introduce them to monkey mothers. Although you will spend a lot of time helping with the orphaned monkeys that have come in due to motor vehicle accidents, shooting incidents or confiscations, time will also be spent in maintaining a wildlife sanctuary

All training will be provided on monitoring animals in enclosures, preparing food and feeding including bottle-feeding babies, and general primate husbandry.
