Vacation rentals on Metcalf Pond, a small scenic lake in Fletcher, Vermont, a short drive from the Smugglers Notch ski area. Fish and swim in summer, ski in winter, relax any time of year in one of the most scenic areas of Vermont.
One of the cottages is open year-round, popular with skiers--a big, house-size cottage with all the comforts of home plus many extras. It includes an outdoor hot tub, a wood-burning fireplace on a closed porch, WiFi, satellite television, etc., etc. For winter guests, we offer discount passes to Smugglers Notch ski area. The area is just 13 miles from the cottage, and we offer lodging at a fraction of what you would pay right at the slopes.
For summer guests, at all of the cottages, swimming and fishing are great. You have your choice of small boats--they vary depending on the cottage, but usually rowboat, canoe, and kayak. Cottages are fully furnished including towels, linens, cookware, dishes, and even a modest amount of food for breakfasts in the fridge--so you don't have to pack a lot of stuff or shop for supplies on arrival.
