coast to coast (or just around the corner!). The pizza restaurant’s first
location opened in New York City’s East Village in 1987, and has been a proud
NYC institution ever since. It was founded by Phil Hartman and Doris Kornish,
two indie filmmakers with a shared passion for pizza, beer, and the cultural
and culinary character of New Orleans. The founders settled on the name Two
Boots, referencing and paying reverence to the geographic shapes of Italy and
Louisiana, respectively.Since the original pizza restaurant opened in 1987, the
