Sarasota has been my hometown for over 20 years. I feel privileged to have grown up in a city filled with culture and history while utilizing the areas prime location to live the Florida dream. After graduating from Riverview High School, I moved to Miami to pursue my collegiate studies at Florida Atlantic University where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Management. I began my real estate career shortly after returning to Sarasota; eager to utilize my newly developed skills, I accepted a position as Closing Coordinator and Office Manager for a real estate office in Nokomis. During that time, I gained direct hands-on experience working with Buyers and Sellers with short sales, foreclosures, and traditional residential sales.
I enjoy being outdoors either playing with my dogs, riding my bike on the Legacy Trail or enjoying the stunning sunsets on Siesta Key beach. I’m passionate about music and love being involved with the local Arts and Entertainment organizations. When the opportunity presents itself I love to travel, enjoy a great film or get lost in a good book.

William True was born in Asbury Park, New Jersey on May 6, 1964.
In 1989, he received his Bachelor of Science degree from New York University and served as Senator for the School of Education, where he assisted teaching computer sciences. True has been online and current with Internet technology since 1986.
Founder and Broker of True Real Estate in Sarasota, True has been active in the profession for almost 25 years now. He has taught many new licensees of the real estate business — some of whom have become broker-associates or have even opened their own successful brokerage.
True’s education and real estate background is extensive.
