David Snow is not new to the auto repair scene -- he has extensive knowledge and experience of all things automotive. David remembers watching his dad race cars in the 50s. Ten years later, David's dad opened up an auto shop where David used to help out even if it was sweeping floors while in high school. Working at his dad's shop only further ignited his passion for all things cars. A few years after high school, David went to Volkswagen's school in 1978. By 1980, David had passed the ASE testing becoming an ASE Master Technician. By 1984, David earned his Volkswagen Master Technician credentials. By the late 1980s, he became the shop Foreman for VW. The dealership would give him all of the "problem cars." David found himself working for his dad's shop again in the early 90s. From 1996 to 2009, David has been road racing, first a Fiat x/19, a 1971 Fiat 124 sport coupe, and currently has a 1977 VW Rabbit, racing with SCCA/Cal Club in the ITC(Improved Touring “C”) class. In 2011 David bought Top Tech Auto with is lovely wife, Barbara, to which you could meet today at the front desk gladly answering calls and managing the shop. Whether it's a small job or a large one, rest assured David will find the problem and always use his best judgement and experience so that you have the best outcome for your vehicle. David is one to pay attention to your budget, but also uses his experience when to properly spend your dollars so that you get more bangs for your buck, versus cutting corners that would cause costly repairs down the road.
