Introduction
Thin Layer chromatography is used for separation in which the different components are adsorbed on the surface of adsorbent such as silica gel, alumina or cellulose. It is carried out on a sheet or plate of glass, metal or plastic which is covered with thin layer of solid adsorbent material.
