Introduction
The Yew Tree Inn is a delightful 17th century country pub with rooms and fine dining situated in the lovely Berkshire countryside close to well known Highclere Castle.
As a pub hotel in Highclere, the Yew Tree Inn now offers 8 cosy yet stylishly decorated double en-suite rooms. Two are on the ground floor with their own private entrance and the remaining 6 are to be found tucked away up our winding staircase. Rather appropriately, all of our rooms are named after trees, are decorated in a matching country style yet have all of the high tech touches that you would expect in an inn of this standing.
The Yew Tree Inn has always had a reputation for serving outstanding food and this foodie focus continues in abundance. Our superb kitchen team is headed up by the dynamic Paul Brennan who has spent much of his working life in the West Country. He believes that great food results not just from the best, freshest ingredients but also from oodles of enthusiasm. Both of these certainly abound in the Yew Tree kitchen!
