Over 1300 years of history have made Beverley what it is today. At the heart of all thats best in the East Riding of Yorkshire, this charming market town boasts an attractive blend of past and present. Rich in contrast, steeped in history, there is a kaleidoscope of attractions on offer throughout the town ranging from music festivals to ghost walks... Historic pubs... Medieval churches to bustling weekend markets... Edwardian art to ancient woodland (The Westwood) Beverley has it all – a charm and ambience which makes it an ideal place to visit and stay from hotels to bed & breakfast, Beverley is an unspoilt historic townscape featuring outstanding buildings and impressive architecture. The horizon is dominated on two counts – to the north side stands the medieval St Mary′s Church and to the south the majestic Beverley Minster which dates back to the 13th century.

It was around this time that the cottages where sold and the property developed into a Free House. Probably serving the new population of Millers, Skinners and Tanners who made Beverley the Market Town that it is best known for. Today some 400 years after, the Windmill Inn is still a Free House serving fine beers, lagers wines and spirits. We have 19 Bed and Breakfast Rooms all en-Suite, these rooms are situated away from the main building enabling you to enjoy a quiet time whilst staying with us.
