Introduction
In May, 2019, Memorial Hall was renamed The Stissing Center. It's a non-profit organization that supports an all-purpose Events Venue, Community Center for the Performing Arts, and defines its place as the center of artistic and cultural life in Pine Plains and Northern Dutchess County, NY. The Stissing Center is on track to achieve its goals of local economic revitalization and job creation while providing space for many of the uses outlined in the original 1915 certificate of incorporation.
