Introduction
Welcome to the Rose Tree Inn, a family run pub and restaurant located in the picturesque Shincliffe village on the banks of the River Wear.
The Rose Tree has been run since 2005 by the Harris family with the aim of providing top quality home cooked food in a relaxed environment. Working together with our head chef Alan, we have created a menu using the best local produce where ever possible and are proud to have recently been awared "Highest Quality Assured and Local Produce Champion" by Taste Durham. During the week in addition to our Main Menu we also offer our ever popular Steak Nights Special and Two Course Special. Don't forget to look out for our Chef's specials which are available on the blackboards all week.
In the bar we always have a great selection of real ales available to complement our selection of lagers and wines. Well behaved dogs are always welcome in the bar which is a popular stop off place for walkers. As well as the bar and restaurant, the Rose Tree also has an extensive attractive beer garden which is very popular in the summer months.
