Introduction
The RockBlok is an exciting outdoor activity centre, offering High Ropes, Climbing, Abseiling and Cycling for individual, family, school or corporate trips. Located on Rutland Water’s North Shore, one of England’s most beautiful tourist destinations, we offer exceptional and inspiring service and instruction, and great value for money. We also organise regular ‘climb on real rock’ outings to the Peak District, Charnwood Forest and beyond.
Established in 2001, we are part of the Rutland Cycling family – in fact, our rustic timber building was the original cycle hire centre, hand built by company founder Dave Archer in 1981 and still going strong today.

At the RockBlok we are ready to make your visit a memorable one, whether you are a novice or seasoned climber, school, college or corporate group, on your own or bringing the family, have just an hour or all day. Our taster sessions, activity packages and bespoke adventure days have been developed to accommodate all abilities from age 5+.
We know you’ll just love the activities we’ve got lined up, and the dedicated personal attention you will receive from our fully-qualified team. We’re part of the Rutland Cycling family, and Europe’s best bike hire fleet is right next door so you can have a full day of healthy and exciting outdoor fun at a great price. We are perfectly located just off the A1 between Stamford and Oakham and easily reached from Leicester, Nottingham and Peterborough.
