The River Cafe and Restaurant

Sitting on the banks of the River Ness in the city of Inverness, the River Cafe and Restaurant offers excellent cuisine made from fresh local ingredients served in a warm and friendly atmosphere with enviable views looking out over the water.

With a wide variety of dishes we are confident that there is a meal to suit all tastes. From lunch time snacks such as smoked salmon & cream cheese croissants to our à la carte dishes such as loin of Scottish reared lamb wrapped around Stornoway black pudding & surrounded by a red wine & rosemary gravy. Plus we also have a choice of vegetarian and fresh seafood dishes all made fresh on our premises.

To ensure the highest quality we cook everything here on the premises and try to use as much of the local produce available to us here in the heart of the Highlands, (including our locally brewed ales and wines.) No G.M. foods are used, and for those of you with allergies we will do our utmost to cater for your needs. Although nut products are not used in all our dishes, some traces may be found.
