Introduction
The Queens' Tea is a Salt Lake-based tea company offering high quality loose leaf blends. We offer tisanes, signature blends, flavored tea as well as traditional teas such as green, black, white, oolong and pu-ehr.
As one of the world’s best superfoods, the rich antioxidant and nutrient content in tea are naturally calorie-free. (Ya hear that, frappawhoozylattiatos?) We take great care to provide you the freshest whole-leaf goodness that maximizes all of those healthy qualities. From our leaves to your cup, it’s a difference you can see and taste.
Having searched the Far East, we are dedicated to bringing you the finest loose leaf blends. Our original and premium selections will take you on a journey through the living archeology of greens, blacks, whites, oolongs, pu-erhs, and herbals. Whether it’s your first sip, or the culmination of a lifetime of brewing, you will discover an experience fit for royalty.
We have direct relationship with tea farmers in Japan and have spent time working on the tea farms learning the fine art and history of tea production. As of this writing the Queens' Tea is working to launch the non-profit arm of the business with a tea line called DigniTEA, with proceeds going to benefit the Homeless Youth Resource Center in Salt Lake City.
As the world’s most widely consumed beverage, the varieties of tea are endless. The Queens’ Tea bridges peoples and cultures, bringing them together by sharing the worldwide variations of this exquisite drink. And since it has been cherished for thousands of years, tea rekindles our connection to history, the earth, and each other. At the core of the business is the idea of bringing people together which is why we refer to tea as "the original social media."™
The Queens' Tea provides tea for restaurants, coffee shops and dessert shops in Salt Lake City. The Queens' Tea has catered events for the Downtown Alliance and during the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah.
In June 2013, A&E selected The Queens' Tea to feature on Project Startup.

Meet Our Team (2)

TEA-E-O
I grew up in many cities all over the Southwest but I consider Phoenix my home. Last summer I moved to Salt Lake City for love and grad school. I am a graduate student at the University of Utah working on a masters degree in the history focusing on the American southwest.
I read nerdy history books and drink lots of tea. I like to be engaged in my community, usually through historic preservation and political activism. I believe that tea can change the world one cup at a time.
I play piano and have two beagles named Beau and Lacey.

TEA-E-O
I am a bioengineering PhD candidate at the University of Utah, and--more pertinently I am a tea die-hard. I love the way that tea brings people together. There is nothing like blending a selection of fresh leaves and taking time out with new friends and old friends over a shared pot of tea. Tea reconnects us. It rejuvenates our bodies. It refreshes and invigorates our souls. Seth and I started The Queens' Tea to share this love with our community and to provide the best quality tea possible. We envision a growing family of tea lovers who relish the cultural elements of tea tradition and history just as much as they savor the complex, delicious, nuanced flavors native to the natural elements in our tea blends.
