Introduction
The Plough, underwent major redevelopment to create this exclusive boutique hotel & restaurant experience in the heart of this Northumbrian market town.
Nestled in the heart of the historic market town of Alnwick and only a stone's throw from Alnwick Castle, Alnwick Gardens, the Playhouse and an abundance of coffee shops and eateries is The Plough and The Annex of The Plough. Which are period and characterful buildings set in the lovely conservation area of town.
The Annex is run in partnership with The Plough which combines to offer 13 bedrooms, from classic twins and doubles, to superior doubles, suites and family rooms.
The Annex has stylish, contemporary en suite rooms set away from the bustle of the main building offering a peaceful and tranquil retreat after a day of exploring Northumberland wonderful sites or partaking in the numerous local activities. We also have the benefit of four ground floor rooms with disabled access suitable for our mobility impaired guests. (Coming soon we have dog friendly rooms).
Throughout a natural palette compliments an extensive use of natural materials such as wood and leather. Exquisite cotton sheets, the finest down pillows and oh so soft throws make bedtime a dream.
All our rooms boast full en suite facilities and specially chosen artworks to compliment the room and the abundance of natural light.
